About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our growing immigration team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a variety of employment-based and family-based immigration matters and possess a thorough understanding of U.S. immigration processes and procedures. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, clients, and government agencies while managing a diverse caseload in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions, including:

    • H-1B
    • L-1
    • O-1
    • TN
    • E visas
  • Prepare and coordinate consular applications, including:

    • E-2 Visa Applications
    • DS-160 Applications
    • Consular Processing Matters
  • Manage all stages of employment-based immigrant cases, including:

    • PERM Labor Certifications
    • I-140 Immigrant Petitions
    • I-485 Adjustment of Status Applications
  • Prepare and process family-based immigration petitions and applications.

  • Monitor case deadlines and maintain accurate case records.

  • Draft support letters, forms, and correspondence for attorney review.

  • Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, required documentation, and filing requirements.

  • Collect, review, and organize supporting documentation and evidence.

  • Prepare responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and government inquiries.

  • Track priority dates, filing deadlines, visa expirations, and case milestones.

  • Maintain case management databases and ensure data accuracy.

  • Stay informed on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and filing procedures.

  • Communicate professionally with government agencies, including USCIS, the Department of Labor, and U.S. Consulates.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of immigration paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate immigration environment.
  • Strong experience handling employment-based immigration matters from initiation through filing.
  • Hands-on experience with PERM Labor Certifications, H-1Bs, L-1s, O-1s, I-140s, I-485s, consular processing, and family-based immigration matters.
  • Excellent organizational and case management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and immigration case management software.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
  • Experience managing high-volume immigration caseloads.
  • Familiarity with business immigration compliance matters.
  • Experience preparing complex employment-based immigration filings.
